Profile
Solar is the eldest child of Duke Sunburst and Duke Sombra of the Crystal Empire, and older sister to Lord Penumbra and Lord Phoenix Cluster. She was born with the rare ability to see the future. Her visions increase in clarity the closer the moon comes to the sun, making them most vivid during a total solar eclipse. She is also half Umbrum.
Despite her status, Solar is extremely socially awkward and sometimes has difficulties interacting with other ponies, but she still does her best to put her best hoof forward when it comes to matters of duty. She is a perfectionist in all things, and so can be very hard on herself when things go wrong, even if she isn't the one at fault.
Her dads have been calling her "Sunshine" since she was a filly, and even as an adult she still finds it endearing.
