Nightheart is an introverted and quiet warrior who dislikes hunting and prefers to gather herbs for the medicine cat, Halfblossom. Her best friend, Sunpelt, has been distant after Ruststar left on his journey. She worries about him, but feels powerless to help him. Nightheart struggles with feeling out of control of her life, and now her destiny, as StarClan has begun to send her visions and dreams warning her of the Clan's fate.
