Profile

Bullet and Tomas were fraternal-twin brothers who were very close. Bullet was the outgoing one and Tomas was the shy and reserved one. They were so close, that as teenagers they picked up on the same hobby of alchemy and experimenting with magic. Sadly, their hometown didn’t like such toying with witchcraft, and they were disowned by their cruel parents for that very reason. Lost and with nowhere to go, Bullet and Tomas lived in an abandoned church on the outskirts of town for weeks— it was on one fateful night when Bullet went to go see if he could find a path to a safer place to stay (volunteering to do it because he figured Tomas would be safe hidden in the church), Tomas was murdered in his sleep by an unknown “bounty hunter”, whom even had the gall to leave his body right where it lay.

Bullet returned in the morning, happy to have found a witch who would house them, but he was absolutely heartbroken to find his brother cold and unresponsive. His grief was so strong that he picked up his dead brother and carried him all the way to the witch’s residence, passing out unconscious on the floor out of breath when he arrived at her door.

When Bullet woke up, the witch had questions, for sure. That’s when Bullet immediately burst into tears, and also when he figured out just what probably happened to his brother. The witch said she‘d teach him some “tricks of the trade”, and even if Bullet and Tomas’s “playing-god” experimentation with magic is what got them into this situation in the first place, Bullet put his moral compass aside and took her offer in a heartbeat.

The rest is history, but several years, seances, and reanimated corpses that would drop dead seconds after later, Bullet was eventually able to call forth the spirit of his dead brother, who could only stay on the mortal plane if he had a living person to cling to. Bullet was more than happy to be that living person, and he was so happy with the witch’s help that the two eventually got married. That witch was named Celeste, and the three have lived in that hut ever since.
