He has a lot of love to give, but others avoid him as he is a dinosaur, which are all believed to be feral and dangerous. This has made him somewhat shy and awkward as he doesn't understand what's 'wrong' with him. Kokomo is used to being on his own and instead enjoys the company of fish that live in the reefs of his favourite beach. He's rather simple, all he wants in life is a trophy from a surfing competition and his favourite food.

Kokomo doesn't have any sort of work, as he is not accepted by society. But he does enjoy surfing constantly with his two friends instead. He regularly competes in surfing competitions, although he has never placed. When he's taking a break from surfing, he's in the waters looking at his fish 'friends'; Kokomo feeds the fish in the nearby reef and knows each of the ones he sees regularly. For some sort of income needed pay competition entry fees, Kokomo weaves seaweed necklaces and bracelets to sell to tourists; though he often struggles making them for smaller customers because of his size.
