summary
damon was once just a black wolf like any other on earth, living his life, until he sacrificed himself for the one he loved, and somehow ended up a demon in hell. or so he's been told. he doesn't remember shit about his life when he was alive, and he doesn't care to figure it out.
being a shapeshifting demon has it's perks, especially when you're genderfluid. or trying to disguise yourself to keep out of trouble. damon spends most of his time on earth under the guise of "wreaking havoc" but he mostly just sits around and plays video games. lately though, someone's been catching his eye, and they seem all too familiar...
personality
on the surface damon is confident, unpredictable, aggresive. he puts a lot of swagger into the untouchable demon persona he's created. beneath it he's strategic, serious, and reserved. people often think he is motivated by revenge, but his motivation is always to protect those he loves. his trust is so hard won that when he feels betrayed, it's incredibly devastating.
when he was alive, he experienced various traumas that i won't detail, but he was quicker to trust women than men, hated cops, was top of his class and loved to read.
sometimes damon is a jerk. it's a defense mechanism, but he deliberately incites anger or pushes people away. he gives people opportunities to let him down, and sets them up to fail in winning his trust so that he can spare himself any disappointment.
