History: Dalilah was born to a rich family in a large trading town far far away from where the story takes place... (Egypt-like) and was always told to care only for herself. Because of this, she became extremely cold, self-centered and stubborn. She never had to do much for herself and was always sheltered from the pains of the outside world. However, she was a huge reader of books as she grew older (around 11-12 y/o). She began to learn of the pain in the past, and asked her parents if similar things were happening nowadays. They told her they weren't and she should only worry about herself, but she couldn't believe them and ran out of the house to find out for herself. She found out that the only people living nice lives were those who owned huge trading firms, but those who couldn't afford to start one at all, they were all alone. It pained her to see them in such a sorry state and began to sneak out of her house with bags of gold to hand them out. However, her parents eventually found out and gave her a "slap on the wrist", telling her that if she were to do it again, they would be forced to take "further action", basically insinuating an inability to leave her home at all. She continued to try to help out but her parents watched her closely and she was always monitored by someone... A spy, a thief, whoever was around. She couldn't stand it. She made the formal decision to leave the family at 16 and went to make a life of her own. As a child, she had picked up weaving and wood-carving and now travels around the neighboring towns to sell her creations. Although she now lives her life on the "rags" side more than the "riches", she doesn't mind and finds herself at least a bit happier than she was with her parents. The only fault had been after her first night of wandering and building up a supply of her goods, they got stolen and she had nothing to sell and therefore eat the next day... Although she doesn't really show her pride to be making a living on her own. Most people still call her extremely cold unless they're buying from here in which she acts friendly. She always seems to be thinking about something when wandering the streets or even waiting for someone to approach her at her trading stand. Her disdain for thieves comes from having been robbed multiple times while just trying to mind her own business. However, she normally manages to catch up to them and get her money back.

Miscellaneous Trivia:

-The tattoo on her right arm is the "ankh", an Egyptian symbol of life - she also has an earring of it which she took from her home when she left

-Dalilah means "weak, delicate", kinda ironic for her character ^^'

-She had a younger brother named Luca who she hasn't seen since she left home

-Dalilah changed her name from "Esther" meaning "star" because she felt as though Dalilah fit her better.

-Lila = "dark beauty" or "dark-haired beauty" (I literally didn't realize this XD), no one actually calls her this (yet)

-Dalilah loves cute things and sweets (candy) 

-Dalilah despises people calling her flat chested - she has that classic tsundere reaction, you know the one

-Despite her maturity, she's pretty naive when it comes to any slightly-sexual joke - normally she'll just take them literally 

-She hates showing weakness in public - she was taught not to as a child and has been unable to teach herself to be more open or just doesn't want to

-Dalilah wants to learn combat of some sort - she knows of a few pressure points that one of her teachers at her old home taught her in case she ran into danger but she wants to learn ACTUAL combat (with weapons OR martial arts) but is too stubborn to admit she needs help. She can be found attempting to practice on her own near the edge of the town with a set of throwing knives she bought for a bargain. 

-Her bottom earring and the tattoo on her right arm is the symbol "ankh", the symbol of Isis (goddess of magic and healing). Dalilah looks up to Isis's kindness and benevolence along with her ability to help others. 

-Dalilah doesn't talk much because she doesn't think she needs to/should unless she has something important to say. So if she is asked a stupid question, she might pretend to ignore it... But additionally, she has an accent (as she's foreign to the main town) and is a bit embarrassed by.
