Adler is a skilled alchemist with a particular skill in herbal pharmecuticals, healing potions, and some varieties of strengthening tinctures.
Druidic Magic
Though his focus lies on the destructive side of nature, Adler possesses a large array of druidic abilities such as growing plants at will, speaking to animals, and healing wounds.
Hand-to-Hand Combat
Teeth, claws, and raw strength are some of Adler's most present attributes. Even in the form of a human, he is a skilled combatant and well-versed in hand to hand sparring.
Shapeshifting
As a druid, Adler is able to shapeshift into the form of most any animal he desires, save for magical creatures. He tends to utilize this strength outside of combat.

Some people would believe there is a certain imbalance between them; a "human" and a gnome, a druid and a common smith, a monster and a man. Add to that the sharp manner in which Wil speaks, or the way Adler looms over him like a dark shadow, and it would be easy to perceive these two as an unhealthy pair. This could not be further from the truth.
Wil was the first to look upon Adler's true form without disgust or hatred. In turn, Adler never once seemed to mind his lover's sharp tongue nor diminutive stature. With Adler having earned the nickname "Spooky" from Wil not long after their first meeting, it comes at some surprise that these two, who are almost always engaged in games of insults, cussing matches, and rough play, seem to be nothing if not content in their relationship.

Loyalty to fear, fear to hatred; a thousand emotions have been tied to the green hag who made Adler what he is. As a boy, he took the pain she passed down to him as his birthright. He accepted and handed out horrific abuse for her without question or hesitation. All it took was for but a single village to see him for what he was and still treat him as worthy for the hexblood to at last realize the true nature of their relationship.
Morgue is one of the few people in this world that Adler truly wishes dead. He knows fully that, as long as she lives, he will technically "belong" to her and the Coven of Dreams. It is no surprise that Adler, in his spare time, actively seeks out ways to put an end to her.

Nettle and Adler never quite saw eye to eye. Though, unfortunately, their "sibling rivalry" never quite ended at the normal level; after all, both were the "children" of a hag. To him, she was always made perfectly in Morgue's image - a monster who took pleasure in the carnage she spread, too ready and self-sure for her own good. In her eyes, he was a disgrace, unworthy for for no reason other than being a man, not to mention his careful, cautious nature.
Physical abuse, insults, and general animosity painted their relationship, though, luckily, the two have not interacted in some time. Both sides hope it remains that way.
