Enid
"Tranquility is so freaking stupid; I'm freaking losing my marbles! I wish I was the goddess of something badass!"
Enid is a very outgoing and determined goddess who sometimes struggles with confronting her feelings in an empathetic way. She can come off as very harsh and uncaring, often starting drama to mask her inner turmoil. Her life had been fairly normal until she came into close proximity with the gods, discovering her true identity as the God of Tranquility. This revelation has left her feeling weak-willed and more submissive, frustrating her and causing her to act out in her desire to dominate other gods and seize their godhoods. She wants to become a tatoo artist.
Enid is a vibrant and fiercely determined goddess whose outwardly cheerful and maid-like demeanor conceals a storm of internal conflicts. Newly awakened to her divine identity as the God of Tranquility, she finds herself overcome witgh an overwhelming urge to dominate and assert control over other gods. This dichotomy makes her both captivating and unpredictable, as she often instigates drama to mask her vulnerability and struggles with self empathy.
Her life had been fairly normal, until she came into close proximity with the gods. She learned that she is the god of Tranquility. She never knew before this.
There is the possibility that she is too weak willed to command her own newfound godhood. She can feel it within her making her weak and more submissive, which frustrates her and causes to act out even more in her desire to dominate the other gods and take their godhoods. It never made since to her why she liked maid stuff until she realized her godhood.
The second she stepped onto the Lectro territory, filled with gods, she felt a violent surge within her, Rev, the instict to kill another god. Rev is from back when gods were fighting each other for territory, since the polluted waters forced gods into closer proximity with each other and mortals. She also gained awareness of her past lives.
She thinks that being the god of tranquility is super lame and she thinks that she wouldn't mind ripping the dominion from other gods to make herself more powerful. She doesn't knoe how to use her godhood to steady herself or help others and cannot find value in doing that for any reason other than monetery.
Design Notes:
Feel free to simplify the design. Enid dresses like a maid, and is happy that you can where whatever you want as long as it's not inappropriate at D'Crombie. She has colorful orange hair in a bun. She has always loved maid aesthetics. She colors her hair with hair chalk.

Personality
General Personality
Outgoing, determined, harsh, uncaring, struggles with empathy, desires dominance.
Enid is a resolute goddess whose vibrant presence conceals a labyrinth of inner conflicts. Outwardly exuberant and fiercely determined, she navigates her role as the God of Tranquility with an iron will that often clashes with her underlying submissiveness. This internal struggle propels her to instigate drama, using it as a shield to deflect her vulnerabilities and avoid confronting her own emotions empathetically. She craves control, respect, and attention. Despite her harsh and sometimes uncaring demeanor, Enid's relentless ambition to dominate other gods stems from a godly condition called Rev, the desire to dominate other gods and take their godhood for your own. She constantly battles between her pursuit of power and the shadows of her inherent weaknesses.
Strengths
Highly determined, charismatic, strategic thinker.
Weaknesses
Struggles with empathy, easily frustrated, tendency to start drama.
Beliefs
Believes in restoring the power and prestige of gods, values control and hierarchy.
Sense of Humor

Reputation
Enid is frequently perceived as harsh, uncaring, and confrontational. Her tendency to initiate drama and her aggressive behavior, driven by her struggle to control her godhood and the influence of the Rev condition, contribute to a reputation of being unpredictable and dangerous. While some admire her determination and strength, others fear her volatile nature and ambition to dominate other gods. This duality makes Enid a complex and polarizing figure within the divine hierarchy, often leaving others unsure of how to approach or trust her.

Tattooing
She practices on synthetic skin sheets daily and uses Lagarde as her first willing canvas. Her line work is improving fast, though her shading still needs serious development.
Hand-to-Hand Combat
She trains every morning in her dorm and brawls with Harner whenever he is available. Her form is aggressive and her stamina is high, though her approach angles need work according to Premala.
Aura Projection
She passively radiates a calming aura.
Cleaning and Domestic Work
She can fold a fitted sheet perfectly on the first try and organize any space with surgical precision.
Sewing and Tailoring
She tailors every maid uniform she owns with reinforced stitching, flexible combat-ready fabric, and hidden pockets.
Programming
She taught herself basic coding from a guide on her shelf and is building a booking website for her future tattoo parlor. She is a fast learner with technical subjects, even if her code is messier than she would like to admit.
Forensic Anthropology
She studies bone structure, muscle attachment points, and pressure zones for her tattoo work and her combat preparation. Knowing exactly where a body is vulnerable serves both careers equally well.

Story
Past
Enid spent the first nineteen years of her life as a mortal girl raised by two devoted mothers, Nayara and Sunniva, alongside her younger brother Parvin. Her childhood was structured, comfortable, and almost unsettlingly normal. Nayara taught her to cook, to fold napkins into swans, to keep a tidy room, and to greet guests with a polite curtsy. Sunniva taught her to stand her ground, to push back when something was unfair, and to sharpen her edge before someone else did it for her. The two influences pulled Enid in opposite directions her whole upbringing, and she compensated by becoming exceptionally helpful, exceptionally agreeable, and exceptionally invisible.
She loved maid aesthetics from a young age and could not explain why. She sewed her own uniforms, folded fitted sheets perfectly on the first try, and offered to help with chores at every house she visited. Adults praised her as a sweet helpful girl, and the praise felt good for a few years before it started to feel like a cage. By her late teens, she was burning through service work and resentment in equal measure, unable to articulate what was wrong but certain that something was.
The instant she stepped onto Lectro territory and into Remedio's gates, every nerve in her body lit up at once. Rev surged through her like a current, the ancient godly instinct to dominate and consume other gods, and the memories of her past lives flooded in behind it. She had been an animal once, prey to a creature with claws, killed by Lagarde in some distant primal era. She had served, obeyed, and been crushed countless times across countless incarnations. The maid aesthetics suddenly made sense. Her docile mortal personality suddenly felt like a betrayal of something older and hungrier inside her.
The first weeks of her divine awakening were brutal. She slapped Lagarde across the face within days of meeting him and shattered every bone in her hand against the concrete of his godhood. He humbled her thoroughly, paid Namiko one hundred and twenty-five dollars to heal her, and offered to mentor her in Rev control afterward. Enid avoided him for weeks out of pure embarrassment before finally agreeing to train under him. She has not yet told her family about her divinity. Parvin still thinks she is just his cool older sister at college.
Present
Enid is a freshman at Remedio Academy, enrolled in the Antheon Control Sect of the philosophy program, with combat training, forensic anthropology, programming, and a mandatory meditation course she is actively failing. Her grades are solid in everything except meditation, where she refuses to sit still long enough to find her center.
She trains every morning before classes, brawls with Harner in empty lots whenever he appears, and meets with Lagarde on a regular schedule for tattoo practice and Rev control exercises. The first eye she inked on his arm has since been joined by several more designs, and Lagarde has promised to remain her loyal canvas for as long as she wants to practice on him. Enid will never admit it out loud, but the sessions calm her in ways meditation never could. She tunes out his philosophy talks ninety percent of the time. The remaining ten percent occasionally makes her think.
Her Rev cravings remain a daily struggle. She fantasizes about ripping the godhoods from gods she considers undeserving. She knows this is a phase that some young gods experience to some degree, and she knows it should pass with time and discipline. The knowledge does not make the urges quieter. She channels what she can into combat training and tattoo work. Her dream is to open an appointment-only tattoo parlor with a waitlist long enough to be infamous. She is teaching herself programming to build the booking site, and studying forensic anthropology to perfect the placement of her ink.
Trivia and Convos
Trivia
- She loves having her fortune read by professionals
- She'd love to go vacationing in China one day and loves Chinese culture.
- She prefers to eat meat raw, and sometimes fantasizes about consuming her godly classmates. This is a common symptom and also an indicator of the Rev condition.
- She is definitely in the control sect of the antheon philosophy. Antheons long for a return to the golden ages of godhood—like the gods of Greece and Rome—when deities reigned supreme in a rigid hierarchy. In that time, gods did as they pleased, and mortals strove only to appease them. Antheons hope to restore that power and prestige to the divine realm.Control Sect Gods following this sect train tirelessly to strengthen themselves, believing that true divine might must be demonstrated by putting mortals in their place. They seek to remind humanity of its subordinate role, perfecting their powers so they can reclaim the top of the hierarchy. Enid, fter learning that she's a god, she shows incredibly little interest in her mortal classmates, seeing them as beneath her.
- She says "freaking" a lot.

Relationships
Nayara
Nayara is Enid's nurturing and patient mother who provides unwavering emotional support. Her calm demeanor often helps balance Enid's tumultuous emotions.
Parvin
Parvin is Enid's little brother who looks up to her and often seeks her guidance. Despite his admiration, he is unaware of the complexities of Enid's divine responsibilities.
Sunniva
Sunniva is the more assertive and disciplined mother who encourages Enid's determination and drive. Her strong-willed nature complements Nayara's nurturing side, providing a balanced upbringing for Enid.
Lagarde
Lagarde is the god of Perception and a philosophy major grappling with depression from the crushing weight of over 7k+ past incarnations. He, like many other gods, is trapped in an endless cycle of reincarnation. Lagarde views reality through a nihilistic lens, often retreating into a passive "foliage form" of vines and leaves when the world becomes too overwhelming. He has the immense power over plants and over the domain perception, often through the ability to become a 3rd eye on someone's forehead. And yet, he is a gentle pacifist who refuses to weaponize his abilities, preferring quality time with his friends. He has an aura of grace, composure, and ancient weariness. He is far more connected to his godly instincts than any other student at the school. He has been voted most likely to ascend to an incomprehensibly powerful form and reform reality into something bearable.
Lagarde, wishing to humble an immature god and prevent catastrophes, offered to help Enid with her "Rev" training. Desperate to prove her newfound dominance, Enid demanded he stop holding back and fight her like a true god, to which Lagarde solemnly warned her that she had been coddled her entire existence and simply wasn't ready.
Ignoring his solemn request to please not slap him in the face, where he keeps his godhood concentrated like solid concrete behind his eyes, Enid excitedly struck him as hard as she could, instantly shattering every bone in her hand. Breaking his passive demeanor with a fit of manic laughter, Lagarde told the shocked goddess she wasn't ready for the divine world, though he promised he'd at least get her to Namiko before the shock of her crushed bones made her pass out; Enid stubbornly claimed she could handle herself, took a few steps, fainted, and woke up in the Namiko's dorm just as he predicted.
After Enid shattered her hand on Lagarde's face, the healer Namiko demanded an outrageous payment to fix it. Lagarde smoothly intervened, speaking a heavy command in E'etle—the ancient god language—that compelled Namiko to obey, though he still politely handed her $125 for the trouble. Humiliated, Enid spent a long time stewing in her own anger and completely avoiding Lagarde. Eventually, the ancient god approached her for a sincere talk, suggesting that connecting with others might help quell her blinding rage. Taking the time to actually learn about one another, Lagarde offered to become a "vessel" for her fury, allowing her to take out her aggression in a productive, socially acceptable way: by letting her practice giving him a tattoo.
Though Lagarde suffered immense pain while Enid furiously tattooed an eye onto his arm, he secretly loves the result; his primal god form possesses multiple eyes, making the fresh ink feel incredibly natural and comforting. He has already promised to be a regular canvas for her and genuinely hopes her future tattoo parlor is a massive success. Their dynamic is now much more relaxed, though a lingering tension remains; Enid is acutely aware that Lagarde could easily humble her again at any moment, while Lagarde consistently treats her with gentle respect, even if he still views the eager goddess as a bit immature.
Akasa
Akasa is a mortal psychic with pyrokinesis who works as the campus party planner and expert sound mixer at Remedio. Convinced that the existence of gods and unchecked pollution means the world is inevitably ending, Akasa embraces an optimistic nihilism that frees her to focus entirely on present joy. Rather than despairing, she uses her fire powers to create dazzling, custom firework displays, ensuring both gods and mortals have a seat at the table before it all burns. Supported by a massive, chaotic family, she is sporty, highly inclusive, and cheerfully unbothered by impending doom. She has been voted most likely to set fire on fire.
Eager to test her newfound divine strength against a formidable opponent, the brash Goddess of Tranquility initially sought out Akasa to challenge her destructive pyrokinesis in a brawl. Instead of meeting her aggression, the cheerfully nihilistic party planner simply offered Enid a sparkler and a front-row seat to her custom firework display, completely ignoring the challenge.
They are currently locked in a highly frustrating, one-sided rivalry where Enid constantly tries to goad Akasa into a serious fight to prove her dominance. Akasa cheerfully deflects her every advance, using her fire powers to dazzle, entertain, and distract rather than destroy, which drives the battle-hungry goddess absolutely crazy.
Vahn
Enid is the Goddess of Tranquility who’s dissatisfied with her rule over such a passive domain. Enid craves power and dominance, fantasizing about testing other gods to climb the divine hierarchy. She used to be a submissive and helpful mortal, but upon entering Remedio, the sheer aura of the gods awakened her godhood. She feels that she has failed herself by her former devotion to service which fuels her battle-lust. She is an eager, impulsive, tactless, brash, and megalomaniacal brawler. She believes that gods should rule mortals with an iron fist and is frustrated by her lack of mastery over her newfound powers.
Enid and Vahn share an intensely tense relationship rooted in their diametrically opposed views on service. As the Goddess of Tranquility, Enid looks back on her past as a "submissive and helpful mortal" with pure shame and self-hatred, viewing her former devotion to service as a failure that now fuels her megalomaniacal battle-lust. To her, Vahn—a man who takes immense pride in his role as a divine servant—represents everything she is trying to outrun and destroy within herself.
Vahn, conversely, is a consummate professional who rejects the very idea of "subservience" that Enid finds so shameful. Vahn views divine service as a skilled, elite trade requiring immense diplomacy and strength. Vahn has little patience for Enid’s brash, tactless, and impulsive brawling, likely viewing her lack of restraint as a sign of weakness rather than power. While Enid wants to rule with an iron fist to bury her past, Vahn continues to serve the hierarchy with a quiet, enigmatic grace that Enid finds absolutely infuriating.
Emosh
Emosh was formerly a sentient semi-fluid substance transformed each day into different tools, but chose to embody a permanent form after being sculpted into a human. After the heartbreak and abandonment of the sculptor, they adopted a melancholic persona to cope with the rejection. Now a member of the drama club, Emosh strives for perfection and conformity in a desperate bid to be loved. They are physically malleable and capable of self-repair, though they often neglect their own care to focus on schoolwork. They have been voted most likely to turn green.
Enid targeted Emosh because they are easy prey: slow, freeze-prone, and unwilling to fight back. She flicks Emosh's forehead in hallways, calls them "lawn ornament," and once knocked their wig off in front of people. She told Emosh that gods should rule mortals with an iron fist and that something made from a god's leftovers does not rank high enough to be ruled over.
Emosh has rearranged their entire class route twice to avoid Enid during passing periods. Mottus walks with Emosh between classes whenever possible, positioning herself between them physically without confronting Enid directly. Blanca stepped in once after seeing Enid shove Emosh against a wall. Emosh understands that Enid hates her former submissive mortal self and sees Emosh as a mirror of that person, but understanding the reason does not make the bullying hurt less. Emosh refuses to call her a bully permanently; they describe what she is doing as something she could choose to stop.
Cameron
Cameron is a laid-back mortal student who expresses affection and basically every emotion through roughhousing. She's often misunderstood as aggressive and rude, though she's too much of an airhead to realize why. She is resilient, unbothered, and straightforward, preferring sports and lazy pastimes to complicated social dramas. She got a full ride to Remedio after ending up in the hospital after accidentally offending a god and now takes life day by day with a playful shrug. She has been voted most likely to find out only by mucking around.
Cameron walked up to Enid one afternoon and shoved her shoulder as a casual greeting, having no idea this was Cameron's standard expression of friendliness. Enid's first instinct was to retaliate with full force, expecting an easy win against a mortal. Cameron absorbed the hit, laughed, and shoved her back even harder.
Enid actually had fun in that exchange, which surprised her. She maintains that mortals can handle their own problems and shouldn't be treated as equals, but Cameron earns a grudging exception because she hits hard and never complains about taking a hit. The roughhousing is sporadic and never scheduled, just happens whenever they cross paths. Enid pretends to be annoyed about it. She is not annoyed about it.
Premala
Premala is the Goddess of Efficiency, a fire-and-water elemental and business major known for her diligence and excellence. Though she appears cold and stoic, she is deeply emotional and hides her vulnerability behind a wall of competence, fearing society won't accept her dual nature. She values merit above all else and holds grudges against unfairness. She has been voted most likely to become the ruler of everything.
Enid sought Premala out in the quad to challenge her to a sparring match, having heard about her reputation as the precise and competent Goddess of Efficiency. Premala scheduled the entire confrontation as a thirty-second appointment. She redirected Enid's full-force charge using a spinning pressurized steam column, sending the goddess of tranquility flying into a bench in front of witnesses.
Premala checked her watch at the twelve-second mark, told Enid to work on her approach angle, and walked away without looking back. Enid sat next to the broken bench for a full minute trying to process what happened. The two have not interacted since, but Enid quietly studies Premala's combat technique from a distance and respects her in a way she would never admit out loud.
Gamma
Gamma is a mortal student and internet personality who lives for loud noises and viral fame. He is constantly using the campus as a set for his explosive pranks and electric guitar solos. He is addicted to clout, and believes that attention validates his existence. He has been voted most likely to bathe in bathtub full of nothing.
Gamma set up his guitar amp in the courtyard at seven in the morning to film an "EPIC SUNRISE SHRED" video, obliterating Enid's combat drills with a wall of distorted noise. She stormed over to confront him, and he immediately pointed his camera at her face, narrating the confrontation to his audience as "GODDESS OF TRANQUILITY VERSUS THE CONTENT KING." A tug of war over the camera ensued.
The resulting video pulled two thousand views and the comments shipped them as a couple, which Enid considers a personal injury that has not healed. Gamma uses every accidental encounter as content fodder, and Enid actively avoids him on campus, taking longer routes between classes specifically to dodge his camera. She views him as everything pathetic about modern mortals, all volume and zero substance, demanding attention without earning it.
Imperia
Imperia is the Goddess of Mischief, a frantic party animal who uses constant noise and chaos to drown out the horrifying reality of her pre-ordained future. Destined to be a "holy vessel" forced into an arranged marriage by the Altari cult, Imperia intentionally sabotages her academic progress to delay graduation and her inevitable gilded cage. She possesses the ability to split into mini imp duplicates to cause harmless pranks. Behind her bright, impulsive hedonism lies a deeply anxious individual who is terrified of silence and being left alone with her thoughts. She has been voted most likely to go to prison.
Enid first observed Imperia in the dining hall, surrounded by her tiny imp duplicates, all of them gleefully passing around an edible candle and taking bites. One of the imps offered Enid a piece. She refused, walked away, then walked back to ask what flavor it was. Imperia explained that the candle was vanilla scented, therefore vanilla flavored, with the confidence of someone who had never been wrong in her own assessment.
Leland
Leland is God of Victory and a celestial centaur whose coat shimmers with the gradient of the evening sky. He majors in computer science and astrophysics, seeking to reconcile the conflicting advice he receives from the Sun, Moon, and Earth. Battling severe ADHD, he is a blur of energy who finds solace in speed, open spaces, and the freedom to roam. He possesses the power to nudge results toward success but treats this ability with disciplined restraint. Optimistic and empathetic, he dreams of one day galloping through the stars to mediate between the celestial bodies that guide him. He has been voted most likely to sip on the milky way.
Leland galloped into Enid in the hallway between buildings. He knocked her stress ball out of her hand, skidded to a stop, picked it up, returned it with a sincere apology, and hoped her day was going well. Enid had just failed a meditation assessment and was actively hunting for someone to scream at.
Leland gave her absolutely nothing to work with that day, which she has not forgiven him for. Enid stays suspicious of him because no god with dominion over Victory should be that humble about it. He could rig every competition on this campus and make himself untouchable, and instead he restrains himself and dreams about galloping through stars. Either his wholesomeness is genuine, which she finds personally offensive, or he is playing the longest game on campus. She watches him. He has not noticed.
Harner
Harner is the God of Language, a boisterous and energetic student who operates under the unshakeable delusion that he is destined to be a legendary hero. Harner views the world as his personal training ground, cheerfully antagonizing everyone he meets because he believes constant conflict is the only true path to becoming strong. He possesses peak physical conditioning and uses his flawless linguistic abilities to find the perfect words to provoke a fight or dismantle an argument. Utterly lacking in introspection, he fails to realize that his peers find him annoying rather than inspiring. He has been voted most likely to get knocked down, but he'll get up again; You're never gonna keep him down.
Harner was constantly seeking strong opponents to fulfill his self-proclaimed heroic destiny, while Enid, having newly awakened her battle-lust and godhood, was desperate to test her powers against anyone willing to throw a punch. They quickly discovered a mutual, insatiable appetite for combat, bypassing any standard social pleasantries in favor of immediate brawling.
Today, they share a chaotic, highly energetic dynamic where Harner barely has to finish a sentence before Enid is already swinging at him. While it looks like an unhinged and destructive rivalry to the rest of the campus, it is actually a deeply straightforward and mutually fulfilling partnership built purely on their shared love of a good, honest fight.
Poppy
Poppy is a bubbly mortal student who manages narcolepsy and cataplexy with the help of a giant floating fish named Peppy. Poppy is an enthusiastic rule-follower who loves cute things, though her excitement often causes her muscles to give out, leading to sudden collapses. Despite her condition, she is socially active and artistic, making homemade sodas and cards for her friends. She finds safety in structure and believes rules exist to keep everyone happy and secure. She has been voted most likely to reincarnate as a stick in the mud.
Poppy made Enid a friendship card early in the school year, hoping a small kind gesture would soften the goddess's aggressive energy. Enid muttered a flat thanks, shoved the card in her pocket without reading it, and went right back to scanning the courtyard for her next fight.
Poppy now actively avoids Enid whenever Peppy senses her stormy energy approaching, prioritizing her own physical safety over politeness. She still hopes Enid will figure herself out before someone gets seriously hurt, and quietly grieves the friendship that might have been if Enid had paused long enough to read the card.
Slay
Slay is a mortal student who arrived at Remedio expecting to rule through intimidation, only to find that gods perceive their menace as absolutely adorable Slay wears a hat labeled "KILLER" and maintains a tough exterior, but struggles against an aura that triggers protective instincts in deities. They are a scrapper who values earned respect and loyalty, fighting back against both rivals and the avalanche of unwanted affection they receive. They refuse to accept help, determined to win on their own terms even when the odds are weirdly stacked in their favor. They have been voted most likely to receive the most votes.
Enid feels the same cuteness aggression toward Slay that the other gods do, but she tries to kick Slay's ass instead of swooning over them. After the first time it happened, Slay realized this was the only kind of attention from a god they actually wanted. They are close friends now. Enid throws punches, and Slay throws them right back. Neither one treats the other like less, which is why Slay considers Enid one of their favorite people on campus.
