Ashlands terror kobolds are woodsmen by nature, and they are small like most kobold species (adults tend to be 2'5"-3 feet). They build villages hidden deep within the woods using wood from the ash trees they cut down with axes made of crystalized fire. They live in one big communal home, and tend to sleep in the same nest. Rather than using the standard currency, ashlands kobolds tend to barter for what they need and want. That being said kobloons fascinated them so much they ended up making their own tokens. Each ashlands kobold has a few tokens with a unique design that they trade amongst each other as a form of iou when a trade can't be completed immediately. Though they are slow to trust an outsider, once you've earned the favor of an ashlands kobold you'll find them hard to get rid of. They're the smaller variant of ashlands kobolds.

Character creation notes
- The furred parts can resemble any canine and the scaley parts can resemble any lizard.
- Their fur never covers the entirety of their arms, legs, or tail.
- Their eye color tends to be the same as any tail spines they might have. These parts being different colors has the same rarity as heterochromia.
- They'll always have a marking on their neck that resembles a bowtie, tie, or bolo tie.
- They have glowing eyes.
- They're always pleasantly warm to the touch.
- They don't have paw pads.

LitRPG Themed Skills:
- [Internal Hearthfire: Whenever an ashlands kobold uses a red magic* skill They recover hp equal to their level, and any allies within 5 feet of them do the same. This skill can only be used if a tier 1 kobold creature class is active.]
- Lurking Horror: When an ashlands kobold's invisibility wears off there's a low chance for every foe within 10 feet of them to be inflicted with fear.
- Invisibility: Like most kobolds, ashlands kobolds can expend some of their mana to turn invisible. The invisibility wears off if they are injured, come into contact with another creature, make too much noise, or use magic.
- Burning Axe: Ashlands kobolds can conjure a 1 handed axe made out of crystallized flames and lava. It functions as a normal axe, but it dissipates within an hour. Attacks made with the axe deal physical, nonelemental damage and critical attacks inflict burn.
- Ashlands Woodsman: Ashlands kobolds deal 2 extra damage to plant monsters if they're using their burning axe.
- Red magic affinity: Ashlands kobolds have a natural affinity for red magic. This allows them to freely control fire and lava, using red skills consumes slightly less mana, and they are resistant to harmful effects from wild red magic.
- Red Slam: Ashlands kobolds can infuse a weapon or body part with their innate red mana to make an attack that deals physical red damage to 1 target within melee range.
- Red Axe Toss: Ashlands kobolds can throw an axe made out of fire to attack foes with red magic from a safe distance. This skill takes less mana to cast if the kobold is using their burning axe. The axe will have to be retrieved or resummoned after using this skill.

Ashlands terrors are an open species I'll be releasing into creative commons after I finish their full ref (I'll be using cc by 4.0). Until then feel free to make as many as you want and do with them as you please (as long as you credit me for the species). Designs that follow WoS lore might be eligible for some goodies in the future.
