Crocmire kobolds are a race of swamp dwelling kobolds. They live in caves with entrances hidden deep below the murky waters. One might think that living in such a place would cause them to be quite dirty, but such a thing is not true. A crocmire's special fur causes all of the muck from a swamp to slide off of them, so a good shake after being in the water is usually all it takes for one to be clean.
A crocmire kobold is rarely seen when hunting. They hide underneath the water or high in the trees, and shoot their prey with blow darts made of fire. Although the darts don't hurt very much they do cause the area they hit to glow red hot which helps the crocmire's hunting crocodiles track them down.

Character creation notes

- Many crocmire resemble lizards in terms of colors and patterns.

- Their fur never covers the entirety of their arms, legs, or tail.

- Their sclera match the color of their flames. These parts being different colors has the same rarity as heterochromia. Their flames being different colors is twice as rare.

- They'll always have a marking on their neck that resembles a bowtie, tie, or bolo tie.

- They have glowing eyes.

- They don't have paw pads

LitRPG Themed Skills:
- [Internal Hearthfire: Whenever a crocmire uses a red magic* skill They recover hp equal to their level, and any allies within 5 feet of them do the same. This skill can only be used if the crocmire creature class is active.]
-Shake Off: A crocmire can vigorously shake themselves to remove filth from their bodies. Doing so removes all debuffs that lower charisma and has a chance to transfer then to foes within 5 feet of the crocmire.
- Invisibility: Like most kobolds, crocmire can expend some of their mana to turn invisible. The invisibility wears off if they are injured, come into contact with another creature, make too much noise, or use magic.
- Burning Blowgun: Crocmire can conjure a blowgun made out of crystallized flames and lava. It functions as a normal blowgun, but it dissipates within an hour.
- Amphibious Body: Crocmire can hold their breath for a long time, and are naturally skilled at swimming.
- Red magic affinity: Crocmire have a natural affinity for red magic. This allows them to freely control fire and lava, using red skills consumes slightly less mana, and they are resistant to harmful effects from wild red magic.
- Red Slam: Crocmire can infuse a weapon or body part with their innate red mana to make an attack that deals physical red damage to 1 target within melee range.
- Red Dartshot: Crocmire can make a dart out of fire to attack foes with red magic from a safe distance. Wounds caused by one of these darts glow making it harder for the wounded to hide if the crocmire is using their burning blowgun.

Crocmire are an open species I'll be releasing into creative commons after I finish their full ref (I'll be using cc by 4.0). Until then feel free to make as many as you want and do with them as you please (as long as you credit me for the species). Designs that follow WoS lore might be eligible for some goodies in the future.
