BACKSTORY
ares is a fiery yet simpleminded fella who lives in two worlds. the first is the waking, aka earth, where his one goal in life is to successfully fly a homemade hot air balloon. the other is surreality, a strange liminal otherspace sustained by the subconscious dreams of others yet encompassing something else altogether
an accidental mutant with his head hopelessly in the clouds, he finds the process of navigating his divided existence fairly difficult, but nevertheless, most rewarding! thus, when ares dreams, he does so vividly, and his most vivid dream of all is to literally reach for the skies... if only he can manage to not crash and burn before bedtime arrives
