Met Baizhu initally after coming in to get his wrist checked out after a long expedition. He ended up being facinated by all the herbs and plants Baizhu had that Jingyi hadn't come across just yet. Ended up developing into partnership of sorts. Jingyi would extensively research the lesser known herbs and pinpoint their preferred enviorments, then collect a healthy amount to bring back to the pharmacy.

In return, Baizhu would check Jingyi over after every trip without much charge.

This would later turn into an agreement to share a living space, as Jingyi wasn't in Liyue Harbor often enough to warrent buying his own home, or even renting an appartment. In terms of relationship, they were at a sort of standstill. Neither were sure they wanted to get closer due to their circumstances, so they often silently loved each other from afar.

Only later did they decide to take a chance, which only spurred them further after they met Orion.

They're still very casual lovers with one another. They're not overly flirty or touchy. Both would rather silently bask in the other's presence, like flowers in the sun.
