[HARPG] Skyler Toivonen

        Skyler was born and raised in Australia, though moved to Akantha for college; her parents have lived in Australia for their entire lives, but all of their parents were Finnish emigrants. Skylight grew up in a small primarily-Finnish community as a result. She's been an animal lover since she was a child, owning horses, dogs, rabbits, snakes... you name it, she's probably had one before. She currently owns one husky named Midnight; she's owned others in the past. She likes to make her social media profile pictures her dogs. She has terrible taste in fashion, but she doesn't care. She is very self-assured and the life of the party. She can be a little prickly, but not too bad. Innovative and likes to do things first, before anyone else can. Big on achievements and setting new records. She dyes her hair (which is blonde as its natural color) all sorts of bright colors religiously. She would get tattoos, but she hasn't been able to decide on a design she likes. Everyone thinks she's a butch lesbian, but she's not and this amuses her. She doesn't identify as a Christian, but she does believe in the existence of God and prays on occasion. She likes to make paper cranes to pass the time.

        She was a transfer student to Akantha National University to pursue a veterinary degree, but decided college and medical stuff just wasn't for her. She joined ARS as a stable-hand fresh off the heels of dropping out, and has been happy to stay there ever since. When Akira bid for -- and won -- a lovely little Australian warmblood filly from Sea Dragon Stables, it was a no-brainer to send Skylight. She could take a vacation to go visit family, and pick up the new arrival. That was the plan, anyways. Once the 2024 Futurity was announced, well... one return flight was mysteriously cancelled, and Skylight was happy to park it and board with Sea Dragon Stables for the next five years.
