Despite Wolfclaw's mean-looking face, he is an incredibly sweet and patient deputy to his Clan. As a kit, a wolf broke into the camp, and he came face to face with the huge predator. Instead of attacking him, the wolf gently licked him before getting chased out by the warriors: his father named him Wolfkit to signify how the big beast had 'blessed' his child. Now, when Wolfclaw hears the wolves howling to the moon, he feels his heart squeeze with desire and loneliness.
