Anonyma53 and I did an art trade. She received a beautiful blue tailed alien, and I received a sexy vampire. We tried to make them cool and badass, but it turns out both are absolute dorks.

Alas.

Apollo found the weirdo stringing a bow and fixing arrows. She put both hands on the door frame and leaned in to bother him. "What's up!"
He paused and gave her an awkward glance, "Uh... Nothing much I guess.", then went back to replacing fletching.
She persisted. "I'm Apollo!"
He was polite, and apparently shy. "A pleasure to meet you, I'm Helios. I'm a little bus-"
"What's your deal?"
"Pardon, my deal?"
"Yeah! Look at you! You've got to be magic somehow. What's your deal?"
"Oh..." He locked his gaze back on his work, but his tone was friendly enough. "I um... I'm a vampire."
"What's a vampire?"
"Complicated, is what it is."
"So what, you're like a mage?"
"I don't think so."
"Oh my gosh do you make fire with your hands?!"
"No I bite people."
"What! Why?"
"Vampires drink blood." Helios said, quietly and carefully, as if the idea would bother her. He didn't know Apollo.
"Oh gross! Wait are you going to bite those creepy wing guys when they get here?"
"No?!"  He was quiet, and Apollo worried she'd upset him. She certainly wasn't about to leave him on a bad note, so she continued. "You wanna see my deal?"

He sighed and looked up. "sure."
She teleported into the room. Helios jumped back in surprise.
"Whoa!"
Apollo grinned, "Cool right?"
"I mean... I suppose it's a little cool, yeah!"
"I can do this too-" She flicked her hands- and nothing happened.
"I don't see anything."
"They're touchy, lemme try again."  She tried again, twice. The third time was a charm and bismuth spread over her hands. She bounced on her hooves in triumph and held up shiny claw gauntlets for Helios to see.
"Okay yes that is very cool."
"It's even cooler because my dad doesn't like it when I use them!"

The vampire's mood broke and he laughed too. Maybe Helios had a disapproving dad as well.
"In that case I hope you do great things with them! ... I heard your dad's not well though. I hope he gets better."
Oh, now that bothered her. "Yeah. Me too..." Nope nope, no bad feelings. Apollo put her hands in her pockets. "You want to see one more trick?"
"Okay one more, and then I really have to finish-"
Apollo pulled out two fistfuls of loose glitter and threw them, yelled "DRAMATIC EXIT!!", and teleported out of the room.  She could hear bewildered chuckles and a quiet "the hell?" As she walked down the hall. This was good, she was pleased.
