A Barovian human that died and became a vampire... he started out putting on a happy face to try and make people around him happier, but once the facade was down he was really just a melancholy guy. He worked as a guard and was adopted by the head of the town. He fell in love with his childhood friend but keeps it to himself, silently watching the other as they grew up together.
One day, he went to a temple with a group of adventurers he had just met and ended up getting struck by lightning and dying. In order to save him, one of his teammates (a vampire) converted him. Now he spends his time trying to cope with the fact that he's no longer human.
