Karver Pierson

The now disgraced hero-knight of Stellea.

He was once revered by the kingdom and nobility for his lineage, being the first son of the knights' captain, and having saved Prince Siegfried's life on the battlefield. However, he is now considered responsible for Stellea's loss in it's recent war, and the humiliation of losing Siegfried in one of the final battles.

The nature of this fluctuating reputation does not help Karver with his already existing anxiety and imposter-syndrome. He blames himself more than anyone for Siegfried's disappearance and likely death. When approached by Odelia to become her retainer, he refused before eventually giving in when she would not change her mind, despite his overwhelming fears that he will not be able to protect her either one day.
