PRESTO, a young former kittypet who aspired to become a warrior in the mighty rapidclan. she was taken under the wing of its leader- rapidstar, a legendary warlord, tactician, and master of both trickery and brute force. newly-named lightpaw was more determined than anyone to become a warrior, and her declawed front paws didn't even slow her down. proud of her energy and unruly nature, rapidstar named her lightwind, "wind" coming from his own warrior name. lightwind wore the name so proudly. it was what he called her, uniquely hers.

after rapidstar's demise and the fall of rapidclan, lightwind and a group of rapidstar's remaining loyal warriors banded together. they traveled the lands, following the clan cats to their new home on the other end of the mountains. however, rapidstar's spirit had been stirring in his dark forest imprisonment... and he was ready to unravel a treachery more powerful than starclan itself. possessing the leader of lostclan, ravenstar, rapidstar was able to find his warriors and take back what was his. however, when lightwind accidentally revealed rapidstar's secret- the fact that "ravenstar" was actually him- rapidstar murdered her in cold blood as a lesson to the others.

presto abandoned her warrior name after her death. she had idolized rapidstar so much, and... her worst mistake was believing he ever cared.
