Arien

"I'm a fool for believing that forbidden knowledge will make my life complete, only to realize what truly makes me feel complete."

A rather curious, polite and knowledgeable young person who's around 13-14 years old. Although he may seem a lot more matured then most kids at their age, they can act quite childish and can be irrational at times. They once lived at Northwell Town with their parents and younger sister, Taro. Once having a belief that knowledge is important, Arien decided to go to the library which they managed to get an invite due to a deal, in order to get that forbidden knowledge.

Initially, they were supposed to travel alone to the library, but due to some reason, they got teleported along with their younger sister, so now they have to go through a reception in order to get that knowledge that Arien tried to get. Due to the super strong desires of knowledge, Arien was very ambitious, too ambitious for their own good. They heard whispers that could help them get the knowledge they wanted, so they listened.

... but it came with a cost. Arien lost themselves, becoming the distortion [TBA]. Focusing on getting the knowledge, they got into a fight with the librarians, to only reach their goals, as all Taro can do is to watch in horror. as they fought the librarians fiercely.

In the end of the fight, Arien regained their sense of self at the last second, to realize what they have done in order to get the knowledge they wanted, which they will never will. They also realized that what matters the most is actually their family, especially their younger sister, the one who they cared for the most. Then they got booked. As a result, their younger sister, Taro was out of the library, due to some librarians pitying the poor child for witnessing this. Also, a random assistant librarian decided to wipe her memories so she will forget about this, to forget about the library.

 Arien, in present day, can still think as a book and is sealed in distortion form, they will forever feel guilty for negatively impacting her life forever.
