Melanie

Melanie is a nervous introvert whos extremely sensitive to crowds, loud noises, and general social interraction. She's a kind person, but you'd probably never notice cus she barely ever talks to anyone. She's a hard worker, but tends to become a perfectionist at times and suffers from mania at times, especially in relation to grades and work. Music is the only fullproof thing that can snap her out of panicking, as she's not really close with anyone. She always has bags under her eyes from anxiety and hyperactivity keeping her awake. However much she wants to sleep, her body just doesn't let her. 

Her mental state is represented by a huge looming bear that is three times her height and follows her wherever she goes. She is aware of it's prescence, but does her best to ignore it most of the time. As no one has been let into her life and no one is aware of her struggles, the bear is invisible to everyone but her. She's terrified of this physical representation of all her fears, breakdowns often resulting from the bears constant menacing presence. This confuses the people around her, who don't understand why she does these things. Melanies entire waking life is dictated by this bear, no matter how normal she tries to be. He fills up nearly all the space in her small room, he perches himself right behind anyone she talks to, distracting her from simple conversation. He muttles her judgment by acting like a devil on the shoulder of sorts. Music is the only thing that serves to mute the bears incessant noise.
