Clover

Clover was found hanging out of a memory eating tree. Saved by a party known as ‘Thistles and Weeds’ it was quick for everyone to piece together that their new companion had no recollection of their time prior to their prison. Despite this Clover put on a happy face and quickly grew attached to their first experience in their life ‘The Mourning Doves.’ This group was Fleur’s group, one of his saviors' homes. His time in the feywild became a miniature rebirth for him. He latched onto the Mourning Dove’s ideals of the pursuit of knowledge. Codexis, the god of these people would grant blind Clover the beauty of a garden and the memory of foliage. His love for plants birthed in this garden.

There he tried peering into his appearance further.. He saw his reflection, a man with short black hair and a bandage over a wounded eye. Clover looked beneath and felt the blur of a man and the pain of his eye getting carved out. Apprehensive and scared, Clover quickly learned that the past was riddled in a lot of pain he was not yet equipped to face. First he needed to learn about his present before he braved the past again.

He learned alot about Fleur and helped her after her ex taunted her current (potential) partner, Tiamin. He learned about Tiamin and how inhuman she felt. But most of all he became very close with Noelle, who loved his cooking and said he was familiar. Perhaps friends in a different life? That made him feel warm beyond his understanding.

This happy tale didn’t last long in the feywild however. Codexis wanted the group to take an amulet from Bargur, the keeper of secrets. They met with this dragon and he seemed very insistent on meeting Codexis himself. The group refused after getting Fleur’s Mom back and moved on to someone else. They began to learn more about Alice Lemaire and Clover was caught up with the mystery of the hare on the run. In her home they found a ball to a different dimension and a name, ‘Ophelia Littleberry.’

The group was insistent about Clover getting his memories back. He was scared but with everyone’s support was more willing to confront it. With seemingly all the information at our hands Clover had the idea of burning the tree he came from the weaken Bargur and get his amulet. Little did he know burning the tree burnt all his memories within it and filled with emptiness. This stunt enraged Bargur and had the party calling Codexis for help and protection for the Mourning doves. One thing leads to another and Bargur got what he wanted. He changed Codexis into a Hag dragon with him and twisted The Mourning Doves into following an evil god. They fled the feywild and Fleur had to convince Clover not to stay.

He harbors deep regret for the idea and desperately keeps that to himself.
