Pronouns: They/Them primarily, but any works (they come from a monoecious species)
Personality/Story: Chroma is a sort of wanderer, sort of thief that stole some very important stuff and now lives life on the lamb. On the way, they bumped into earth, and have settled here, at least for a bit... they find humanity beautiful in its own way, and really enjoy learning everything the planet has to offer! They're a bit shy and anxious, prone to running away, but still very curious.
They tend to get into earth-y shenanigans of misunderstanding, so feel free to draw whatever pops in your head for that.

Any new food... citrus and other acidic things especially.

EXTRA DESIGN NOTES:
Fangs are not fangs, they're mandibles :P
Everywhere orange+pink can change colors and patterns.
Their "wings" are bug like (and not used for flight).
Their bristles are hard - like a porcupine's spines. Can be rubbed together for noise.
Please, have fun coming up with alien fashion! Dressing them up is fun! They can't wear super thick/heavy shirts, though, because they breathe from their chest - so scarves, neckwear, tail wraps, etc are where it's at.
Alien Biology notes:
Sounds: Singers (the species) are excellent mimics. They can control all the individual bristles of hair, rubbing them together like crickets to produce tones. Their rib-gill-things act like bellows, and they have a complex set of vocal chords akin to birds.
The pink and orange are constantly shifting like a lava lamp, so don't worry about patterns - and they can even use these surfaces to display fun images. Changes in pattern and color are used to communicate.
Their species evolved from prey, and come across as nonconfrontational/flighty. Chroma themselves is riddled with anxiety, but can be brave and even badass when the situation calls for it. Still, they are primarily skilled in running away, very quickly and even very fancily (alien parkour!).
