Kenshi presents himself as the typical "strong/silent type", however there's more to him than that. He tends to be very introverted, preferring to be alone than around others. He has issues with connecting to people on an emotional level, as a result of low empathy for others. This, combined with his paranoid and usually pessimistic attitude has left him feeling very lonely (although he would never admit this).
He often thinks logically and plans out minute details, and values his own ideals/what he thinks is right over others feelings. He often comes off as cold and apathetic, and sometimes even rude. Although he does have a softer side of wanting to connect with someone- and more importantly, to trust someone.
Appearance
Kenshi has a lean body type with broad shoulders. He has long and straight, naturally black hair that is parted on the right. He usually has it up in a low ponytail. He has pale skin, and dark brown, upturned eyes. He has a long scar on his right eye that starts above his eyebrow and ends at his cheek- it has a slight curve. His lower eyelid is red (or otherwise dark) from sleep deprivation. He has slightly upward-curved eyebrows that get thicker in the middle- making him appear a bit mad/displeased often. He has several hidden scars on his chest and back that vary widely in size, placement, and shape.
Kenshi had a rough childhood- he was a kid of two immigrants. One of which was involved in a mafia in order to make ends meet. His parents did love him, although they were often neglectful as a result of tireless working to pay the bills. As a kid, Kenshi had behavioral issues and was often picking fights. He was often very angry, which only began to subside in his late teens.
Due to his fathers involvement in the mafia and Kenshi being unable to afford secondary school, he too joined organized crime. From the age of 18 to 21, he worked as a hitman- a job that took it's toll on his mental stability overall, but one that earned him a significant amount of money.
However, after being captured by a vigilante, Kenshi was beaten- in order to be let free, he ratted out his former "clients". This was the beginning of his worst bouts of paranoia, as he believes he is being hunted by the mafia he once worked for. Now, he lives a life on the run- with no real home and no real friends or family, he finds himself more isolated and paranoid than ever before.
Sam Colosimo: Father
Kenshi's father. Sam was involved with organized crime for most of his adult life in an attempt to help his family. He and Kenshi are close, however since Kenshi left the mafia they haven't talked. Kenshi misses him.
Aiko Colosimo: Mother
Kenshi's mother. She was his sole caretaker. Kenshi and Aiko have a very close and supportive relationship, and almost always have. They still keep in touch, despite Kenshi being on the run. Kenshi worries often about her.

- He usually values his own life over anyone else's. The only exception would be for someone he loves- which is unlikely.
- He prefers to use knives or poison as weapons, rather than firearms. Very skilled with knife combat.
- He doesn't get angry easily- but can become homicidally mad when he finally does get angry.
- He enjoys bar atmospheres, but doesn't drink due to paranoia that it will be poisoned.
- The heart locket has a photo of his mother and some old friends of his in it.
