   Prophet, Lilian, and Sheriff lived together outside the territories beyond the rogue shroud for several moons. When the pregnancy was discovered, the three promised to rely on one another for aid and raise them together. When the kits were born, they were happy for a time. But when Sheriff died during an unfortunate hunting mishap, and Lilian’s health failed her, Prophet was left to care for the kits alone.

   Struggling to produce enough milk to feed the three, let alone to hunt or care for their own needs, Prophet made their way back to the territories. They might not be wanted there, but it was the best chance their kits had at survival without Lilian and Sheriff. Prophet brought the three to Cloudclan’s border, looking for Cirrusflight or another friendly face.

   Hawkkit doesn’t remember much of his journey outside of Cloudclan. When he first opened his eyes, it was when he was in Cloudclan camp. In a nursery with his parent Prophet and other mothers and kits. However, he could quickly see that there weren’t many who liked them being here. As well, there was a lot of drama between a certain family of cats. It was interesting to listen to, and something that he could definitely utilize later. But hey, a cat dropped off some flowers for them! He heard their name was Ploverfern? He’ll keep that in mind.

   The drama continued as the main center of attention, Gusthowl, got a mate named Bristlefur. Let’s just say, it ruffled many feathers. Cinderfawn, a mother of kits that were apparently his but he abandoned them, was quick to insult Bristlefur. Along with a pair of her kits who were quick to insult their abandoning father. It was all very interesting, but for now he needed to figure out how to make his parent feel less isolated and unwelcome.
