Lucinda and Adelaide

Young conjoined twin betta fish. They're orphans and attend some kind of prestigious girl's boarding school or something. Very quiet and shy and don't like talking to people besides themselves. Maybe one or two close friends.

Lucinda is on (our) left and Adelaide is on (our) right.

They both use she/her.

I think they grow up and eventually properly inherit their parent's fortune after it was put into the supervision of an uncle. They both enjoy literature, with Lucinda more interested in novels and Adelaide more interested in poetry. Maybe part of their inheritance is a publishing house their late father owned (also co-opted by uncle until the girls came of age. uncle is probably not thrilled about this).
