Personality:
Horizonsong is still kickin' it with just as much energy as she did in her youth. She is loyal to ScaleClan, adores her family with all her heart, and still has room there to fill as much fun and fulfilment as she can! Making a little hobby out of decorating Gatormouth and the oak tunnels, she's become a little bit of a homebody. But she works just as hard as the next cat, and invitations outside camp are always welcome. True to her namesake she tends to look at the big picture more than the details- if she has an idea, it's usually Eelsplash and Oystereyes coming up with the scheme to make it happen. She's a lot better at staying focused on the task at hand. She helps reel boisterous clanmates' antics in, but with her more outgoing nature she's still good at helping quieter cats come out of their shells.
Backstory:
Even as kits, Horizonsong, Eelsplash and Oystereyes were practically joined at the hip. It was never a surprise to see the three of them running around playing Gator Bounce, antagonising old birds, splashing their mentors, anything for a laugh. As they got older, Eelsplash's declarations of destiny and togetherness felt a bit like jokes at first...until, well, they weren't jokes at all! Soon Horizonsong realised he was right- she was head over paws in love with the both of them and she couldn't imagine spending the rest of her life with any other cats. So eventually they became a family of their own, a surprise to no one. She was overjoyed when she had Barracudafin and Magnoliasnap. Her greatest hope was that they would grow up as happy and beloved as she had been- and with cats like Oystereyes and Eelsplash around, she was reassured knowing they'd always be adored. And with Eelsplash specifically as their father, well, those kits' mentors had better have been prepared for two pawfuls! With her kits all grown and life continuing as usual, Horizonsong is just glad to be able to greet every day with the two cats she loves. ScaleClan isn't the easiest life, of course, but she'd never replace it for the world.
