Bluegrass is always trying to make sure he's useful. If something needs done, you can always count on him to be the first to volunteer. He's a reliable cat with a strong sense of duty towards his clan...even if he finds himself disagreeing with other cats' priorities more often than not. But he wouldn't say that aloud unless asked. He is a doer, not a talker. There's so much for him to do. Deep down, he fears that not doing enough means he useless, or a burden. He wants to be as little trouble as possible so that the rest of his clan can sleep well at night. He works to the point of going without rest sometimes, if he thinks it's worth it. And lately, after this storm, he's been especially sleepless...

History

Born to Flipperpurl and primarily raised around his slightly older cousins, between Skatepaw's brashness and Bubblepaw's silliness there had to be someone around to keep everyone safe. Blue took on that role for himself the first day he learned to swim the hard way, falling out of a nest and scrambling onto the nearest root. That day taught Bluekit one thing: the world was chaos and danger. If you weren't careful, you'd get yourself hurt. And in the Mire, few cats seemed that careful. No one except Bluepaw's mentor, Sunstorm. Bluepaw idolized them from the moment training began, believing that hard work and service to TideClan were the best way to lead his life. Nowadays he still works as if under Sunstorm's watchful eye, knowing that they aren't disappointed at all- but what if he slips up?  

The most recent Storm would leave any cat adrift. But not Bluegrass. No, never Bluegrass. He resolved that he was going to be the root that TideClan could cling to, just like the now-deputy Sunstorm. TideClan needs more hard workers than ever in these trying times. And no one works harder than Bluegrass.
