There is something familiar about you, I just can’t place my finger on it. It’s on the tip of my tongue— I can feel it. I feel a sense of… warmth, when I see you. Happiness. Why is that? And why do I also feel a sense of anger, resentment even, when I see you? I don’t even know your name, but I feel as though I have known you all my life. Who are you? Why am I so happy, yet angry, to see you?
When I lay my eyes upon you, sounds of faded laughter suddenly flood my memories and spill out through my eyes. I don’t know why. Why do I stare, and look at you like one would an old friend? We have never met, this does not make sense. Where have I met you before? Are you the faint giggles that fill my eyes with tears?
