Nocturne is an escaped both lab experiment and inmate. He's a kidnapper of children, but not for the reason you think. He kidnaps abused and neglected children from their families and takes care of them until he sees a family fit, then giving that child to that family. He kidnaps children by using red smoke from his mouth to put them to sleep. His night form hides his identity since he's already wanted. Despite his motives, he doesn't see any wrong doing in his actions and will continue to do them, no matter how many times people tell him it's wrong.
