Profile
Cloudstar has an intense amount of confidence in herself, her capabilities, and her beliefs. This permeates her every action, resulting in the formation of her new Clan and the seperation of herself from every part of her old life. Her religious beliefs about StarClan are most different to how she was initially raised, and she holds those ideas very near to her heart as the reason for CloudClan's existance, to build a place where communicating with their ancestors was not something exclusive to the powerful and specially trained. Above all else, the warmth and care she seeks to bring to her Clanmates is what drives her to better herself and her community.
It is difficult to tell Cloudstar she is wrong about anything, as she will persist regardless of outside opinion. This lack of willingness to accept advise is one of the reasons why CloudClan did not have a deputy at the time of its founding, and why Cloudstar was so quick to dismiss all of what she had been taught growing up regarding the afterlife. This pride can cause her to come off as condescending to other cats, making them feel invalidated and as though they are being seen as kits. Ultimately her independant nature is not the best fit for a leadership position.

- Cloudstar's warrior name was Cloudgust due to her headstrong attitude.
- She discovered her own way of communicating with StarClan while completely surrounded by fog.
- Cloudstar is now thought of in her original Clan as either misguided or a traitor, depending on the person.
- She is straight and demiromantic.
Cloudkit was born in a different Clan to the one she would end up founding. She was always interested in the idea of StarClan and thought long and hard about possibly becoming a medicine apprentice, but ultimately found the idea of herbs too unnappealing.
Even as an apprentice Cloudpaw never stopped wondering about StarClan and the messages they might hold for her. She begged the medicine cats to train her in how to communicate with them, but they told her it was a sacred process and that she was forbidden from knowing that information. This injustice was never forgotten, and so began the slow decay of her loyalty to the Clan.
One morning of particulary dense fog, Cloudgust was sent out on a morning hunting patrol. She had cornered a squirrel against a lone tree in the middle of a clearing, with nowhere for it to jump to as means of escape. While following it up the tree, the fog swirled around her until the ground was obscured entirely, and all she could hear was the sound of her own heartbeat. Despite the overwhelming void that surrounded her, Cloudgust saw a figure in the distance, though it dissappeared if she tried to look at it directly. This figure told her of her potential, her chance to make a more balanced community, and her confidence that would let it happen. When the fog cleared and the warrior returned to camp, her loyalty to her Clan was shattered.
