Jemisha ranks as one of the few "Spirit Kings" and is the only one among the spirits in Moroseland, often protecting the weaker spirits and treating them like her children.
She is one of the oldest spirits, making her one of the strongest and wisest.

She was around even before the kingdoms had formed, and watched as the creatures of the lands began slaughtering each other over material things.
As time passed, her attitude towards the mortal species has changed from curiosity and kindness, to disdain and distrust; as many have wronged her and the spirits over the course of her life, leading to her having a hostile attitude in more recent times. Due to this, she requests help from Charter to protect their home and the younger and weaker spirits, essentially making him her aide as he's one of the strongest spirits in the lands.
Often she will advise the spirits to let the mortals be, and to avoid them as much as possible. Charter tends to have a more aggressive approach, usually chasing away or attacking any mortals who come too close or trespass instead of avoiding them like Jemisha advises.
