Yuhi Kadzan (又火火山 Kaazan Yuhi) - is a 1-A class UA student and heritage of Kadzan family. She has a brother-villain Hotaru Kadzan who is a member of The League of Villains and later of the Paranormal Liberation Front.
Apperance
Yuhi is a young teenage girl with pale skin and quite mature body features. Her eyes are coloured in double red and have an almond shape. She also has long black hair which stands out because of the glowing orange pigmentation on it. Yuhi rarely has any emotions on her face and seems to be one of the calmest students in 1A though it changes with time. Before the end of Summer Camp, Yuhi had to wear special glover on her hands which prevented her lava to damage something or someone.
Her hero costume consists of one piece of a tight tracksuit with no sleeves. It's red coloured with two wide dark-purple stripes on the sides. There are gem-like indicators on her chest and hips which detect the temperature around her and glow when it exceeds the level that other people can withstand. She wears high boots on the platform which inverse a pattern of her suit. She also wears big sized refrigerators on her arms.
Her suit barely changes during the winter. It still has no sleeves but her shoulders are now covered. The nacked space in-between boots and the suit is also covered with material. It was made by UA designers although she doesn't actually need a winter modification since her quirk always keeps her warm.

Personality
In her childhood, Yuhi was completely different from who she became. Funny, joyful, a little bit naive, and she was amazed by everything around her. She wanted to be friends with everyone and she managed to do that. Yuhi never bothered about her future and was just a normal child who enjoyed spending time with her brother and parents.
After the tragedy with her family and following grandad's parenting, girl's ideals and personality suffered major changes. The most noticeable was that since that day Yuhi almost never showed strong emotions - her face always kept plane, emotionless mask. Yuhi has grown cold, serious and strict, paying a lot of attention to the other's behaviour and creating a strong image with the first sight. She is very calm, quiet and at some point detached from the outer world. Yes, I believe you can say that she shows antisocial behaviour. This is the result of her being raised in a very closed society.
Despite her outstanding power, Yuhi can't be called an arrogant girl. In fact, she is very modest. The girl is objective to herself, and she admits that she is far from being the strongest in her class. With no jealous, she says that her childhood friend has exceeded her long time ago. This modesty sometimes comes to a point when she feels uncertain. For example, when Hotaru left her alive only because he wanted so, Yuhi lost her confidence for a while. At these moments she needs someone supportive near, who can cheer her up.
She never had a desire to become a hero. She entered UA keen to find and kill Hiro, and when she finds out that her beloved brother already did that for her, she stays in the academy to get enough experience for future battles with Hotaru. However, studying there for a long time, Yuhi became closer to her classmates, unconsciously considering UA as her second home. Moreover, talking to people like Izuku and Eijiro, she started to change for the better. She became open-minded and more emotional. Yuhi started to smile more often and chat with her classmates, sometimes even laughing at Denki's stupid jokes.
Talks little but sharp. She knows how to express herself with a dead logic which makes discussions with her totally unuseful. Yuhi will keep her point of view, sometimes giving such arguments that you'll start to believe in aliens and flying beavers if she would want.
Yuhi is afraid of destiny and uncertainty. She is totally against the idea that someone or something is in control of her life, leading her through a particular plot. Because of that, she rejects any religious ideas and concepts, being a constant sceptic.

Description – This quirk allows Yuhi to create and control lava from her body. It quite similar to the one that Shoto Todoroki uses but her quirk is harder to control. It has to be mentioned that it doesn't convert her skin into the lava. It is more as if her body was secreting it alongside with other liquids such as sweat or tears. Even though all her body can secrete lava (even her hair can do this) it seems that the most power is controlled by hands.
Advantages and disadvantages:
+ Her power has huge attack capability. It literally can melt everything.
+ It provides Yuhi with a fireproof skin - she basically can't burn. People with fire quirks are just useless against her.
+ It provides its users with special hair colour that serves as an indicator of their physical and mental health.
+ Yuhi has a great advantage in a close fight. Covering her body with pure lava she becomes nearly untouchable.
+ Thanks to her quirk, she almost never feels cold, only if she gets in a really cold environment.
- It all depends on the energy resources in her body that can be transformed into the lava.
- She becomes weaker contacting with water. She is really vulnerable to water quirks.
- It is a quite slow quirk. Even though Yuhi can fight with it on long-distance, it's dangerous for her as her defence becomes weaker (lava just has no time to form)
- the main disadvantage of such a powerful quirk is that it's nearly impossible to control it. Lava release could happen in whatever moment, depending on the user's physical and psychological state. The user has to spend decades before he or she will receive total control over the quirk. (She had to wear special gloves in order to not to hurt someone before the Hero License Arc)
- This quirk is basically made for destruction. Using it in crowdy places can lead to a huge number of victims.
Other Abilities
High intellect: Yuhi's intellect ranked as A+. She is one of the smartest students in the class, behind only of Yaoyrozu, Midoriya and IIda. As well as her brother, she seems to have amazing abilities to create plans using her opponents' weakness right during the battle which is known as a "death intelligence". She also has teaching potential as she was able to help Enko and Sabrina to prepare themselves to the end of the term test.
Pain tolerance: Because of her quirk she uses to fight in close battles. Obviously, she gets a lot of damage during them so eventually, her pain tolerance became quite high. Yuhi withstands minor traumas with ease and manages to continue her fights even when her body is undergoing lots of damages.
Emotional control: At the start of the year Yuhi was emotionless. Thanks to her classmates, during her journey with them, she started to develop a quite wide emotional palette. However, she is still able to control her emotions really well. Even if Yuhi wants to cry or if she is in rage, you will never be able to tell that with her face. Well, at least if she wouldn't want that.
Fireproofness: Neither her skin, hair or any organs can be affected by the fire. Yuhi is absolutely indifferent to the heat and she can't even feel a temperature rise. For example, if she would fight Bakugo, she would be injured by the shock wave but not because of explosions themselves.
Temperatures resistance: Thanks to her quirk, Yuhi is absolutely unaffected by temperature differences. If it is cold, she unconsciously emits a small amount of energy she uses to create lava, making her body temperature stays optimal. When it's hot... well, heat has no affection for her due to the fact that her body was created to be able to manipulate lava and is totally fireproof.
Equipment
- Refrigerators - located on her arms, they keep a vast amount of energy to be able to cool Yuhi's lava and convert it to the stone. Could be used to cool herself down as well when her temperature rises too much.
- Temperature detectors - gem-like indicators on her chest and hips. Detect the temperature around her and glow when it exceeds the level that other people can withstand.

- Characters in her name Yuhi (火山) means "second" and "fire" and have an overall meaning "Our second fire". The name was given her as for a second child, born after her older brother.
- Her surname Kadzan (又火) literally means "volcano".
- Her favourite food is cold sweet tea with sandwiches. Her least favourite food is peanuts.
- Her hero costume was made from a fireproof material in order to withstand her quirk. Even though her skin is completely safe, it doesn't spread on her clothes. There were several embarrassing situations when her clothes burned completely in front of other people.
- Kadzan family is a huge yakuza syndicate with Ryuji Kadzan on the top of it. He was the leader before his son took his place and came back after Kamuri disappeared. He is a former guardian of Yuhi until her father will come back to normal life. However, they are not yakuza in a "normal" meaning of a word. They are not villains, but more anti-heroes. Even though they have a big influence in a subterranean world, they used to help heroes. This double-faced politic allows Kadzan to stay a powerful yakuza clan in the time when all yakuza were destroyed by heroes.
- Besides Japanese, Yuhi can fluently speak English and Korean languages. She has good grades in humanities such as literature, geography, psychology and history, however, has no idea about maths and physics.
- On the time of the End of Term Test, she was eight in the class. She had to ask IIda to help her with exact sciences.
- In the UA student residence, she got the room on the 5th floor near to Asui and Momo, and in front of Sato, Todoroki and Sero. She made her room look like a typical yakuza woman one (just because she is used to this) and was "pleased" with Denki giving her "one-san" nickname straight away.

History
Early childhood
First of all, I should say a few things about Yuhi's family. As everyone knows, when Hero Era started, the majority of underground organisations were forced to finish their existence. Same happened to yakuza who had to destroy their traditions and families to not get in heroes hands.
Kadzan family was also a syndicate, one of the biggest in Japan. And it happened that since the first generation, their quirks were powerful enough to keep them safe from the first heroes attacks. However, the time passed, and to the third generation, it was obvious - it can't go like this any longer. Heroes became stronger, the government started to support them, and there was no chance for such big "villains" families to survive. The very young Kadzan leader and Yuhi's grandfather in future had to choose - follow the path of others and finish Kadzan as yakuza, or become a government "privateer" and work along with it. Willing to preserve his ancestors' traditions, Ryuji went with a second option.
Yuhi's father was the oldest Ryuji's son - Kamuri Kadzan who inherited his father's lava release (and considered as his strongest user). He married an ex-heroine Asami Sanme with a Third Eye quirk. By the way, about relatives. Kamuri's younger brother is worthy to mention. Hiro, though his name is quite similar to a hero, went straight to the villains' side. The guy never had as powerful quirk as his brother did, and so Ryuji (who was kinda like Endeavour at that time), never paid much attention to him. First trying to amaze his father, Hiro went down from truly courage actions to evil deals. His quirk was quite simple but deadly at the same time. He was able to make anyone to desire something more than their own lives. The effect presented for several hours only, but it changed the lives of Kamuri and his family.
But getting back to the main characters. Soon enough Kamuri and Asami gave birth to two adorable kids. Hotaru and Yuhi. Both quirks appeared as they were supposed to, before the age of four. Yuhi inherited her father's (and all their bloodline) power - Lava Release. Children were raised with great care and love, even though they were surrounded by yakuza. To be honest, little Yuhi felt herself like a princess which kind of spoiled her. She could easily run away from the house to meet her friend, be rude with older ones, or even burn her room when something went not as she wanted. Parents forgave her everything. She was selfish, wasn't she?
Kadzan Tragedy
However, her happiness wasn't there for long. Her life changed completely that day when Hiro, being jealous of Kamuri's happiness and success, finally decided to kill his brother. You see, he sicced about 10 pro-heroes on Vesuvius house. Hotaru and Yuhi were at home at this time, so they saw the bloodbath at its best.
Heroes, who were rampaging under Hiro's power control, killed about half yakuza, eradicating their residence. But they didn't stop after that. Kamuri's house became their second target. Her mother ended up in a coma because of overloaded quirk and her father just disappeared. Not Hotaru nor Yuhi knows what happened to Kamuri and if he is still alive. Thankfully, their grandad appeared right on time, not only defusing remained heroes but also kicking his son's ass. Hiro barely ran away from the outraged father and still was heavily injured after a short fight with him. As for Hotaru and Yuhi, well, they finally found out why their gramps was known as a Tokyo Dragon. In spite of their devastating mental health, he treated them with all his severity, thinking that Kamuri and his wife were too soft on them.
Well, he was right at some point. Such treatment didn't allow kids to close in themselves but built their characters.
Late Childhood
Unfortunately, this day finally came. When Yuhi completed 10 years, Ryuji decided to turn off her mother's life support, basically killing her. And if that wasn't enough, Hiro showed up again. Ended up completely crazy, Hiro decided to take Kamuri for everything he had starting with his kids. Hiro knew that Ryuji wouldn't tell them about uncle's involvement in the tragedy, and came to them while Tokyo Dragon was out. He promised his nephews to help "revenge" heroes if they would go with him. Yuhi refused right the way, but grown-up Hotaru unexpectedly agreed. Apparently, he always wanted to kill the ones who attacked their home and just waited for the right moment.
When Ryuji came back he found lonely Yuhi who told him about her brother leaving. After that Dragon had nothing else but to tell his granddaughter who was in charge of her parents' death. And to apologize that he didn't kill Hiro back then. Of course, it was a shock for a child who already suffered enough, and Yuhi completely closed up. That was understandable - earlier she always stayed with her brother and as he left, lost her last close relative. So her "smart" grandpa decided to go an easy way - why losing time looking for Hotaru (who definitely was mentally ill) when you can just find someone else? He decided to kill to birds with one shot - give his granddaughter a friend + make this friend to be a loyal warrior who'll always protect her even with his own life.
The candidate was found relatively quickly - two years before, syndicate members found an orphan girl on the streets. Well, they caught her when she tried to steal their wallets. And little Magda could have paid a high price for her theft if yakuza didn't notice her rare quirk. What a joke - little brat with telekinesis! So they took her in order to grow a future yakuza. Obviously, Ryuji knew about that situation and when his granddaughter required for a company, remembered about an orphan. That's how Magda Aires became Yuhi's servant.
Yuhi... wasn't amazed by that idea. Well, she burned her room in an act of hysteria for the first time since Ryuji has arrived in this house, shouting that grandpa didn't want to bring Hotaru back and only wanted to shut her up. This made an impression on Magda, but not on Ryuji. His answer was a parental smack upside the head and a month grounding with living in the same room with Magda (as Yuhi's room was destroyed). So they had nothing to do but to get on well with each other. And when the unpleasant first meeting passed, Magda and Yuhi actually became friends. Close enough for Yuhi to try to explain Magda that she has her own life while Aires still calls Yuhi "my young mistress" and tries to protect her.
