OCD is putting it kindly for Jaxx. The cleaning, the straightening, the way they leave the house, how they enter the house.... The list could go on all day. But the germ scourge of the planet is their worst fear. If they eat out, they only eat at places that the chef's have either earned their trust & respect, or allow them to watch it being made. This includes coffee, pastries, meals of all kinds. Otherwise, they are perfectly content to eat things prepared at home in a sterile kitchen. Accounting for criminals is pretty dangerous work, & as such, long ago they cut all ties with anyone of significance. Work is their life, money is their comfort, & a panic room style bedroom is their reward. Isolation isn't great for anyone, but money & denial are powerful tools. Sadly, Jaxx isn't sure if they will ever learn to trust again, or if they'll ever get used to skin to skin contact of any kind after leaving their parents behind.
