Obscurion

He/it/they, "Shadow Sovereign" ???

As a human he had delved into the forbidden arts and discovered a tome, this was a tome left behind by a celestial themselves. He read the texts of forbidden knowledge not knowing what it would do to his body and mind.

This morphed the unique ability to manipulate shadows. He could extend his own shadow, morphing it into tentacle-like appendages that obeyed his will. As his power grew, so did his ambition.

The more he used his powers, the more he became intertwined with the shadows. His mortal form began to fade, replaced by a formless, shadowy figure. His transformation culminated in a cataclysmic event, where he fully merged with the shadows, becoming Obscurion, The Shadow Sovereign.

As a god of despair, Obscurion could now grow tentacles from any shadow, not just his own. His once human form was now a terrifying visage of shifting shadows and writhing tentacles. He kept these under his coat and still does to this day. Giving up all his energy for a somewhat humanoid appearance but he can't hold it for long since it can only happen at night or under special rules.

Headcanons/facts:

• He was never destined to become a god, so he is seen as an outcast by most of the others, for some reason however, Hush likes him and will be seen with him a lot of the time. 
• It doesn't like to eat at all, doesn't see it as a must anymore now he isn't human
• A despair god is a very lonely existence so he can usually be seen alone or attempting to find a way to change back into a human. He is extremely bitter at the celestials for being so "careless" with such things as the tome he had found locked away. 
• Will probably never let anyone see the full form of himself he hides under his coat. He is very self-conscious of it
• Cat person, thanks to Hush.
• Tries to communicate with Humans but they obviously don't understand what he is, so it's difficult to make someone hear him out before they call him a monster and run away.
