Almandine Garnet

Almandine Garnet is a era 1 non-fusion Garnet gem that worked as a guard for pink diamond before she had her Earth colony. After Pink Diamond's "shattering" Almandine Garnet was bubbled because she reminded the other Diamond too much of Pink. She was a loyal protector and devoted follower of Pink Diamond, and would have been shattered before seeing Pink harmed. When Pink was supposedly shattered, Almandine was devastated, blaming herself for not being there to save Pink. Almandine was not sent with her because the other Diamonds believed she would not be needed on Earth, and thought she would be of more use on homeworld. In era 3 when she is unbubbled and learns the truth of Pink Diamond, she finds some peace in knowing she couldn't have stopped it and that Pink was never shattered. She also falls in love a recently unbubbled Rose Quartz , as sign that she is overcoming her past.

Almandine helps Raspberry Rose Quartz work though her insecurities, while Raspberry helps Almandine learn to love life again.
