on occasion, he's pulled into another timeline or universe, where he spends much of his time desperately trying to contact someone and get help, whether he's still in his station or manages to get some time on the ground. unfortunately he's always registered as a foreign object- a splinter in that timeline's thumb- and violently rejected, spat back out to the Inbetween to lose his mind in isolation
