Roy is someone who has a very hard time telling others how he truly feels, which usually gets him in a lot of misunderstandings and giving people the wrong idea of what he actually is like, the fact he’s someone who becomes brutally honest when he’s trying to be sarcastic or whenever he’s mad at someone doesn’t help his case at all, which can sometimes cause him to have a moment where he feels like the whole world is against him and wishes he could just explode on the spot and never be seen again.

But this usually brings up the question: "Is he a bad person?" Sure, he can be blunt or maybe word himself incorrectly most of the time and not apologize unless it is pointed out to him, but he has never tried to actively harm someone and it's pretty unusual to see him genuinely pissed off at someone (and if he is, then it's mostly the other person's fault), which has made others wonder if the 'old Roy everyone knew and loved' is still there, hiding under all those layers of self-hatred and guilt the 'new Roy' has all over him, waiting for an event to bring light to that side of his, but only time will give us an answer to that question.
