Born in 1924, Bugs grew up in a residential school after being taken from her parents. After being in the school until 15, Bugs felt heavily disconnected from her culture and somehow ran away from the school. Because she ran away at night, Bugs encountered a Malkavian by the name of Elijah. Elijah stayed with her until the sun was about to come up, making sure she was safe from the manhunt that was looking for her. Bugs had a vague memory of her mother telling her stories of what evils lay in the forest, but also of the positive things in it as well. While she was watching the sunrise, Bugs saw a white Coyote, an animal she always felt connected to. This was a positive sign for bugs and she ended up staying in the forest in hopes of seeing Elijah again as well as hiding from the people who wanted to hurt her.

Despite not having the words for the mental illnesses at the time, Bugs struggled with severe anxiety, BPD, and ADHD. This caused people to believe that she was just being a difficult child in the residential schools, and because of that she ended up getting traumatized there even more. Due to this, after having spent more and more time with her, Elijah started using Forgetful mind on Bugs to make her forget her time there. Elijah eventually took Bugs under their wing to take care of her. Bugs slowly found that being in a serene, quiet place they could sort through their emotions easier and the ever-shifting vibrant colours kept them busy when they wished not to think. Bugs hair steadily grew despite the occasional cut, and they found with her eyes covered conversations and social interactions on the rare occasion when Elijah took her to visit another kindred, was easier and not as anxiety-inducing. It gave them a form of barrier between them and the other person, that let them feel safer and less paranoid about the intentions of whomever they were talking to. The only person Bugs was willing to show their eyes to is Elijah.

Steadily Bugs grew to be quite adept at living in the forest, and due to this she started feeling more connected in her own culture. She also grew to be very comfortable in the forest, during the day or the night. April 18th, 1949, while hunting at night Bugs was attacked by Settlers who had stumbled across her. Due to a sudden premonition, Elijah found her dying in the woods and embraced her. In 1991, Elijah and Bugs officially moved into the city after having lived in a small town. Taking up refuge in some a hidden crypt. In 2020, Elijah decided to answer the call of the Antediluvian, leaving Bugs in Toronto alone.
