this is a somnifauna. they are a hypnotic entity, and actually are not the only of their kind - somnifauna is a general term for the creatures, not this specific one. this one can be called Faun or Somni. its tail can fan out like a peacock with many eyes, to confuse and captivate souls who fall victim to its sleep-inducing stare. their eyes (on their head) and mouth remain closed at all times unless they are hypnotizing something. they are mostly only seen by incredibly sleep deprived humans who are falling in between the worlds of dreams and reality, tucked into corners or alleys or following beside your car.
