Erica

Erica was born in the 60's and became a vampire in the late 70's. When she was first turned she tried to keep up with the trends as best she could but after a few decades didn't put much effort into it. When the internet happened she, like many other vampires of her time and older, were left in the dust.

She's not totally hopeless but doesn't bother applying herself to learning. Rivers tries to help his gilf of a girlfriend but she ends up forgetting most of what he says. She is still a big supporter of him on all of his socials though. The one thing she does make an effort to understand is subscribing.

It drove Rivers insane when she learned how to comment and would spend hours fighting trolls and rage baiters on his behalf. She would be complaining about "the roaches that had the nerve to speak" constantly until he learned how to put parental controls on to turn the comments off for her.

Erica can disguise herself as a human when hunting. She can change her entire physical appearance excluding her bat ears. She has to fold them down and wear headphones or a hoodie. This has an effect on her hearing abilities when hunting.

She is quite forgetful, even forgetting her own last name some time in the 2000's, so she made up a new one. Rivers thinks she may have some form of dementia that would have affected her more if she was human.

Erica likes to hang out at senior citizen homes to chat with "people her own age" when she and Rivers get in an argument. It often ends with her coming home and complaining that they all became prudes with old age since they usually scold her for her revealing style.

Erica is a type of vampire that can withstand being in the sun for a limited amount of time. She likes to tease Rivers about the fact that she can be out in the day longer than he can.
