The Ultimate Sailor, Vanessa can navigate all the oceans and seas, storm or shine.

However, how she got to her position was anything but smooth sailing. Born into a teenage family, Vanessa was already doomed to a hard life, as the family was not the most stable in terms of finances and mental state. Nonetheless, she was raised in a mostly loving family...Until shit hit the fan when she was 14, and the father left after finding out that the mother had been cheating on him and that Vanessa wasn't actually his biological daughter. The incident caused Vanessa to lose respect for her mother, before she ran away from home. She joined a crew of sailors some time later, where she found her passion with the sea, and excelled as a result. This caught Hope's Peak's attention, where she was invited to the school with the title of The Ultimate Sailor.
