Nova is an alien cat, capable of hopping through worlds at a whim. At least she was. When she unknowingly spent too much time in a twisted realm known as the Dreamlands, she became stuck within its borders. Befriending a strange deity known as Apollo, she aided in the creation of Zaintis, roaming the world to this day.
- Nova was responsible for some of the creations in Zaintis, including cats.
- They do not need to eat, drink, sleep or do anything mortals need to survive. Xe are unaffected by disease and cannot age. However, she likes to on occassion
- Nova, despite not being able to world hop freely anymore, can travel between the realms of Zaintis and The Dreamlands.
- They are able to shapeshift to mimic various species of living beings, doing so if they wish to walk among them. They always keep some kind of trait of their own when they shift however. Some beings rumor that the creator lives amongst them.
- Shapeshifting
- Nova can shapeshift into any form she wishes.
- Immortality
- Nova is unable to die from aging and disease. Thanks to Apollo, she is unkillable by any mortal in Zaintis yet can be killed within the Dreamlands.
- Creation
- Apollo gave Nova the ability to create new things within Zaintis, within reason, of course. She has a certain level of control over the goings-on in Zaintis, though not as much Apollonius.
World Hopping
Nova came from a world far away from their current home. Discovering their world-hopping ablity, they travelled to many worlds, roaming from place to place trying to learn more about the various universes. One day, they landed in a strange twisted world, The Dreamlands. Befriending a celestial deity from this realm, they spent much longer within this realm than they had planned. However, unbeknownst to them, The Dreamlands has an unwritten rule, World hoppers that spend too much time within its borders become linked to it, unable to leave. Nova was now stuck in the Dreamlands, having to abandon her home world.
Zaintis
When Apollo told Nova that they planned to create a new world, they requested Nova help them with their creation. Nova aided and in return was granted a paradise in this realm. Whilst Apollo left to the stars to rest, Nova remained in Zaintis, visiting her best friend on occasion, catching up on the events in Zaintis.
