  • • Both Physical and Mental, really. His mother was terrible to him, but so were some of the others in his home kingdom.

  • • His mother uses a large number of tactics to keep her son doing what she wants him to do. This usually involves a large amount of guilt and claiming that his thoughts are against the Goddess or just pure insanity. This leave lasting effects on Camus even as he grows older.

  • • Camus is lacking a portion of his soul, and this causes some lacking in him. Others who are aware of this are often notably cruel to him and treat him lesser for it.
