General Facts

Name: Melinoë
Nickname(s): Meli, "Little Speaker" (by Luna)
Age: Unknown (appears late 20s)
Height: the Ancient equivalent of being ~1,80m

"Hm, I wonder if it was meant to go this way."

Watcher of Time and Space, Chronicler of mankind's history.
Daughter of the Ancients Thalia and Lahabrea, younger half-sibling to Erichthonios Luna. Of quiet but curious nature, Melinoeë always loved to spend time around the Wardens of Pandaemonium, asking questions about what they were doing, hoping for interesting stories. Growing up in the depths of Pandaemonium where her mother worked, her days were filled with wonders of..a different kind, but nothing that had a negative effect on her. Indeed, it wasn't uncommon for her to wander into the vicinity of concepts deemed to dangerous for Elpis above, much to the panic of every warden around, especially her older half brother.

On Parentage and Family
Born to Thalia the Warden and Lahabrea the Speaker, Melinoë's family was as normal as it could've been. While she didn't see her parents as often as other children, she regularly stuck around her older brother and the other people around Pandaemonium (and Elpis, from time to time), never having a reason to feel lonely.(Yes, she did sometimes get to be part of Convocation meetings; recommended to Lahabrea by both Elidibus and Azem; much to the..dismay of Hades. Just imagine a small running around the room having fun with creation magicks www)

Magically Gifted
From a young age it was clear that Melinoë had a gift for magic, mastering the creation of even complex concepts easily. As such, she was a valuable member in Pandaemonium when it came to helping out with realizing sealing magicks. Adding to this was also her especially strong aethersight.

An invisible Sister
Randomly spacing out can be normal for children, but for Melinoë this was...a different kind of normal. What others would perceive as her demeanor changing and talking to herself, was for simple as talking to another human next to her. When asked, she'd say she was "talking to her sister, Nyx", as if nothing odd had happened at all. Due to her aethersight, everyone simply assumed she was seeing a remnant soul float around and interact with her like any child who'd see a friendly beast approach them.

A different kind of Legacy
Being the "last proof" that her mother was alive, she was entrusted to Hades shortly before her mother went missing. Indeed, one of the last things her mother had told her dear friend, that Melinoë was "her Legacy and that she was sure, Hades would make sure she's not forgotten." Why she was entrusted to him specifically isn't known to her and it's something she never asked him.

At the End of Days
Having been with both Hades and her father on the fateful day of the Sundering, she too wound up being "saved" by the former's escape route. However, this wouldn't be without any cost, for her young self witnessed one of her friends being torn apart right before her eyes. Seeing "Azem" approach the group, the young girl quickly ran over to her in excitement, only to witness the gruesome event unfold in front of her. As her friend fell to her knees, she tried to support her, but only managed to hold onto the necklace before  Hades ran over and carried her to safety. She kept the crystal in hand, something that'd have lasting effects for herself.

Trapped in the Rift
Some time after the Sundering, an older Melinoë found herself in the rift between time and space; she herself doesn't remember how exactly it happened. In a space not unlike the Interdimensional Rift, she could visit, or rather observe, whatever place and time she found among the stars.  Unbound by physical laws, she'd discover newfound abilities that both scared and fascinated her; but her boundless curiosity won and she started looking at a different timeline from the one shew knew...

Chronicler
Having unlimited time means unlimited ways to pass time and what's more interesting for someone who likes stories than to watch them unfold in real time? Having no real "purpose" of her own, Melinoë decided she'd make chronicling the lives of people she deemed interesting "her own life-long task". While she can't directly interfere with anything, she nevertheless found joy in watching a mortals' life with all it's up and downs, especially if she recognised a soul's colour from her own childhood. Indeed, it was enough to distract her from her own loneliness among the cold space where she resided.

Of "Nyx" and "Time"
Loneliness isn't a companion the young girl was used to, but something she had to get used to after arriving in the rift. Thankfully for herself, she wasn't alone because her "sister" was still with her! However sometimes, it seems like neither of them feel like themself, like something else takes over their emotions... Maybe even unlimited time can't mend the space left behind from being torn away from the last 3 people she knew?
