Violet

Violet is considered second to the throne, as her mother is the controller of the hive due to customs to preserve the strict line of royalty. Because of this, she lacks understanding of danger, how to protect herself, the importance of responsibility or understanding situations foreign to her own. She grew up being pampered, protected, and doesn’t understand the difficulties others face. She is often viewed as spoiled, bratty, and selfish. Which she is. She is a free spirit, adventurous, and grows annoyed the more she is kept up in her hive. She isn’t allowed to go far from the hive and most days she must spend learning how to be a leader one day.

They say it’s to teach her but she is never allowed out for reasons she shouldn’t ask but understand. She isn’t exactly a fan of it, though. She's easily bored, mischievous, adventurous, and loves playing tricks on those in the hive. Shes curious, loves to be involved with anything that can get her away from being cooped up. She often sneaks away since her mother is very busy, and perches in the trees to watch others outside of the territory.

More times than not she often annoys others by teasing and doesn’t understand the consequences. She wants to be a part of others journeys, and will act nonchalant about not being invited but will sneak around to be a part of it. She can’t stand being left out, and has an inflated self confidence. At the core she isn’t bad. She can be problematic but she has a good heart, she helps but won’t admit that she cares, she grows a lot character wise as she faces certain situations.
