Diaphysis is an ivory mage that wanders the multiverse in search of riches. She roams endlessly, often taking jobs for meals, shelter, or bone, not bothered enough to keep track of currency.

She comes from a rotting world, formerly going under a different name. In her youth, she was trained as a mercenary and basic spell casting. After finding a strange artifact on an ancient battlefield, she discovered it could be used to travel to entirely new worlds. She was quick to go off on her own, returning to her homeworld only to further expand her knowledge on rune magics.

As a traveler her whole life, she has little sense of consequences, simply able to run away from her problems. She has a short temper and blames the world for her issues. She values success and independence above all, but she'd be lying if she said she didn't feel a tad lonely.
