Nickel is a runaway noble turned pirate, and you might be able to tell from his manners, but never from the ease with which he gets his hands dirty. Often literally, being that he is the designated engineer and shipwright. They like to tinker with stuff in their free time, be it some vital ship structures or little trinkets of their own. They have an extremely high pain tolerance and very little care for their appearance, which combines into forgetting to use protective equipment 99% of the time, and results in tons of burns and injuries (they spend a lot of time in the medbay with Jude). He is generally low-key if not outright detached, preferring to observe over participating.
