Corazon, or Cor to their friends, is a second-year Math Major and member of The Witch-Patron Society (TWPS). Their existence is guided by the paradoxical combination of a long list of mundane fears, and an obsession with the frightful and supernatural.

Cor navigates what they believe to be a treacherous world full of unseen threats and lurking dangers by clinging tightly to their very narrow comfort zone. They rotate through the same seven outfits every week, tread the same well-worn paths to their classes, and adhere to a general policy of keeping their head down and trying their best to avoid potential disasters— whether that's a freak traffic accident, death by food poisoning, or an unexpected social interaction.

Their only solace in this perilous world lies in the realm of the supernatural. A near-death experience (they slipped and fell into the pool during gym class) granted them the ability to speak with the spirits of the dead. By complete coincidence, these ghosts all happened to meet their gruesome ends in scenarios straight out of the many horror books, movies, and games that Cor avidly consumes. Cor sees these ghosts as their friends and allies, preparing them for the threats of the living world by warning them of all the ways things can go horribly wrong.

Cor first came across TWPS in a poster advertising a seance held under the patronage of the Dark Lord. They'd originally come for the ghosts, and certainly hadn't expected to find kindred spirits of the living kind :)
