Darik

TW : Imagery of self harm scars

  Darik is a 7 centuries old vampire, his twin brother being Darion. Around 15 years ago, with his sibling, they developped a new kind of ponies, the Carnises. Though, through the experiments, especially when they deviated on ponies, especially children, Darik and Darion had a fight, as their views shifted. Darik originally thought that making a new kind of ponies could create a bridge with the vampire kind, and was willing to put some sacrifice for a fairer world, but grew disgusted with his own actions. Darion, had a much different view on their goal ; shifting the scales, and putting the vampire kind above the regular ponies.

  Darik didn't find it in him to fight his own brother, and decided to flee with one of the experiment, one of the children he grew fond of, Pensée, when she was around 4. Becoming a brotherly/paternal figure to her, he taught her survival as the Carnises were suddenly spreaded into a raw form, probably unplanned. Pensée seemed to have still developped the Carnis mutation implented, but have a form of control over it. Darik dedicates his life now to protect his sister/daughter, from his own brother.
