Camille

Camille grew up in a small village of forest dwellers, and did not interact much with society. Her mother, Sylvie, had Camille when she was very young out of an affair with the rich and powerful Octavian Caphrius. Despite giving her a child, Octavian claimed no responsibility for her, and so Sylvie was forced to return to the village, and raise the girl herself. Soon after, the softspoken Fergo asked Sylvie's hand in marriage. Since she had known Fergo her whole life, Camille had no reason to believe he wasn't her true father. However, her peaceful life screeched to a halt when she was about 8 years old and Octavian returned to claim his child, with a group of armed men. When Sylvie protested, she was shot and killed. After his Cammy was taken and his wife gone, Fergo died of grief within the year. Camille saw none of this, and was simply told her family no longer wanted her. Octavian returned to Caphrius manor with her, and she was promptly introduced to her younger half-sister Dianthe. Dia was sickly, and shy, and did not have many friends. Cammy was not used to staying inside, so she made up little games to ease her boredom and sadness. Dia quickly grew interested in these games, and soon the two were inseparable. What nobody knew however, was that Sylvie had been a great witch, and as Camille grew her powers did as well.
